When children come into your marriage, a couple has to have an agreement on an acceptable way to raise them. The couple also has to agree to never argue in front of those children. If an argument is unavoidable, take it to a room where the child or children are unable to hear what is about to be said. Turn on some background music and then speak. Come to an agreement, hug, and then go back to the children and together let them know what needs to be known. Don't argue or disagree in front of them because in time they will grow up and learn how to pitch the two of you against each other from these reactions and behaviors. Always back each other up with love and understanding.
